Fragrance gives me a headache and aggravates husband's allergies and the Hoover Free Deep Cleaner worked great and no smell or headache/allergies. Area rugs weren't that dirty, but was surprised how much dirt was removed. Just bought the Shark Carpet Expert BRN and used it the first time with this cleaner. Both worked great.

I have asthma and some pretty intense fragrance sensitivities (can't use much of anything with artificial fragrance around the house without migraines, asthma attacks, coughing, nausea etc).Picked this up based on reviews. Upon opening and sniffing I was skeptical because it had what I would call a noticable smell. We decided to use it on the livingroom rug first since the rug could be rolled and taken outside of the smell was too strong. I was absolutely stunned... Once mixed and in the machine there was almost no smell. My husband cleaned carpets and furniture (becauase we have two dogs, three kids and well, things get dirty). Once cleaned and rinsed there is a very, very faint scent left behind but it just smells clean! We typically do our carpets and furniture twice a year (I grew up doing it and will always do this) and I am so happy to have found this product. It will be our go to for all carpet cleaning going forward. Only thing that would be even better is if they went fragrance free or used a natural fragrance (a light one) but not a big deal.(In the past I have used another popular brand and had to take breaks outside and carry my inhaler for days because of the perfume smell left behind. This hasn't caused any issues at all!)

I am sensitive to a lot of the fake-smelling or overpowering cleaning scents. I love that I don't have to worry about this one. I know I'm cleaning, but there's not really a scent at all and no headaches or difficulty breathing afterwards. I'm very happy with this cleaner.

This is my go to when we shampoo our carpets and furniture. I am highly sensitive to anything with a fragrance as it triggers flare ups with my health.Works great, never disappointed. Please keep selling this !
