A truly beautiful and perfectly made corkscrew for those who appreciate centuries old passed down craftsmanship. It opens wine bottles with a butter like ease. Very happy with my purchase. 100% French made by skilled artisans. Watched many YouTube videos on the labor and talent required to make this product. Hestitated to buy a single pull corkscrew. I favor the double stage pull but I was surprised how fantastic and easy the cork comes out with this. A very small complaint. This corkscrew comes from a metal foundry and although it’s gift boxed and nicely presented, I found I had to remove a blackish soot from the Metal crannies with a microfiber cloth. It was dirty. That out of the way, I couldn’t be happier.
