If this were plugged to a 220v outlet using an apaptor, can you plug a 220v appliace to it? (like a 220v 100watt appliance)?

No the adapter only uses the 110v of the 220v and then after the surge protector, the voltage would still be 110v. Not to mention that the unit is not designed for thst voltage.

Only the center strip works. There is no power to the two outside strips. Any clues?

Well, if your center strip works, then the power strip is fitting properly into the wall socket and you don't have any issues with your main electrical. If it were me, I'd send it back and re-order another one, either from POWSAV or someone else. There isn't an easy way to say this, but, all of mine on the strip work.

Is this product good to use?

The 8ft. Powsav Surge protector is phenomenol. I was able organize and clear up some wires under amy desk.

?can i plug in a Ac unit ?

It is highly recommended that A/C units should be connected directly to a wall outlet for long-term, regular use as they draw a great many amps when the compressor starts. Over time, the heat from amperage draw during start ups causes deterioration of extension cords as well as surge protectors. The surge protector is safer than a regular extension cord, but it will become useless over time from too many surge events.
