## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I power this via wall power while it is hooked up to my jetson nano?**
A: Hi, you need not to power it. It is installed on jetson nano. You could power jetson nano.

**Q: I removed the 0r resistor as recommended and now my board doesn’t work, even if i power it externally via the vin. fixes?**
A: What was the resolution of this? I want to remove the resistor to externally power the servos but dont want to break the board.

**Q: Is there a power supply for the HAT that works from a wall outlet?**
A: The User Manual is listed under the documentation URL posted: https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/Servo_Driver_HAT
It says what the VIN DC power supply voltage range is. 6-12VDC

**Q: Schematic says pi's 5v, servo 5v, and regulator 5v all connected together. servos draw power from pi! regulator 5v out and pi 5v contend! is this ok?**
A: When I run my raspi 3 from a standard usb I often get a low voltage warning. To make up for this I spliced a usb cable onto a buck converter that steps down a higher voltage source to about 6V (I started the converter at 5V and slowly cranked it up until the low voltage message disappeared). With this I have run 4 servos with this board at once, however the usb touchscreen I use with the pi tends to go out.
