I do not know if PTSD or whiplash has destabilized my neck but this is a good brace to wear running and sleeping for a herniated neck disk c7 so that the neck does not move in damaging positions. I am a smaller person with a thin to medium neck and i found this to be a cheap and simple partial solution. The support is not great but if it was, it would be impossible to sleep with it on so I like that this is so-so but I can wear it while sleeping. This is a gentle support brace that helps.

This brace is well made and will be perfect for some people. I need the U or V shaped front and am a bit short necked. This one is straight across, all around and pretty rigid. You will have to judge for yourself if it is right for you. The picture didn't reveal the detail of the front. The fabric is delightful. The collar is washable. The extra piece included at the closing makes it easy to tighten or loosen. Items such as these require careful consideration. Since most of them come from China, the translations can be a bit misleading. I was able to return mine without a problem.

The velcro gets tangled in your hair, or slips and the brace falls off. Not big enough and the material isn't firm enough. Like having a sweater around your neck.

fabric seems easier to maintain than the standard issue white gauzy one. Comfortable and supportive at the same time.

The neck brace is attractive and soft and comes with neck extender, which I don't need as a little Grama. My spine is so bad and I am SO glad I bought this neck brace! The pain relief is remarkable!
