The fabric is easy to wipe down. I will warn that there is only wire at the opening, so heavier items might cause it to lose shape or fall over. I use these for linens (mostly towels) and that happens when I fill to the top. I tried it with regular clothes and didn’t have that issue. All in all, good hampers that are great if you want to put them in a closet, but stylish enough to leave out in the open.
