Good quality for the price, performed well and held up to large force
This thrust bearing saved me a ton of headache during the installation of a new pulley for my power steering pump. I have an installation tool and the thrust bearing on that was badly damaged while trying to install the pulley. I bought this VXB bearing to use in combination with my install tool and it worked great! I really had to crank down on the tool with a large breaker bar and put a ton of force into the pulley to get the pulley to go on. This thrust bearing took the force like a champ and showed no signs of damage, brinelling or spalling. For the price you can't go wrong with on of these bearings.Keep in mind the bearing comes in pieces with the races and bearings not housed with each other. This wasn't a problem for me but it could be for someone else.

If you have a Blackstone Pizza Oven Read This
Makes my Blackstone pizza oven turntable rotate very smoothly. Keep in mind if you place this bearing under the turntable you will need to make an adjustment due to the shaft not reaching all the way down to the rod (driveshaft) which comes from the motor. This was solved by purchasing a stainless steel rod of the same thickness from a tractor supply place. It was cut one inch longer than the original factory rod with a hacksaw. Have someone to help you do this next part. Place the newly cut rod into the motor and hold in place under the oven up where the shaft will go through while someone else places the rotating table into the slot with the thrust bearing sitting on the lip of the shelf. Slide into place and your turntable will now rotate extremely well. I looked for this bearing but no one sells it where I live. I'm really happy with the way this bearing makes my pizza oven table revolve and places less stress on the motor.

Blackstone users, this is not worth the trouble
I bought this based on all the reviews and thinking it was going to be an easy plug n play mod. Totally not the case. The main problem is that the collar where the shaft inserts on the Blackstone is just slightly too big for the thrust bearing, so the bearing does not neatly fit into place. I decided to go whole hog and completely cut away the collars and then weld the thrust bearing directly onto the blackstone chassis. What a pain in the ass it turned out to be. The worst part is that the thrust bearing is sever millimeters larger than the plate shaft, so there is a slight wobble now. Yes, the plate spins very smoothly and a lot longer, but that wobble is probably going to create issues now. I could solve this by getting even more involved but at this point, I've had it. If I were going to do this over, I would have just tried to grind down the collar to make it flush with the chassis. That kind of grinding would have been a pain, but probably preferable to cutting and welding like I did. However, if I'd known all of this before hand, I would just forgo the stupid mod. It's not worth your trouble, believe me.

Met my expectations
These are high quality bearings and are doing exactly what I wanted them to do to reduce friction on a pizza roundtable in a very hot oven.

So after reading about this modification on blackstone sites i decided to get this item. Unfortunately the bottom lip that sticks up in the blackstone oven doesnt fit inside the opening of this piece. It sits above it, which for stability I dont think is the best thing. You also then need to adjust your platter height to compensate for this and if you dont put high thermal gel into the bearings eventually it will probably seize up and then your back to square one. Unless your pitting an enormous weight on top of your stone, I domt think this will make a difference. My rotator works fine, Ive never seen it slow down or stop with the current oven configuration. To each their own.

Great for Blackstone Pizza Oven use!
I bought this for my Blackstone pizza oven after reading through the reviews for that product. If you are thinking of purchasing this for your Blackstone pizza oven, do it. It helps to drastically take the load off you stone-table turning motor. Without it, I was able to turn the table with basic force and it turned about 2-3 times. With this thrust bearing, it turned close to 8 1/2 revolutions! To install it, pull off the lid to the oven, then pull out the stone and turning table/shaft. Under it all, you'll see a horizontal shelf with a hole in it where the table shaft goes. Place the thrust bearing on top of the hole, carefully lining up the thrust bearing hole with the existing horizontal shelf hole. Carefully put the table and shaft back in. You MAY have to adjust the stop of the shaft for the increased height created by the thrust bearing. In order to adjust it, you'll need an allen wrench which isn't included with the pizza oven. You can get a cheap set at any local hardware or car parts store or borrow from a neighbor. After that, cook away!
