Sweet, sweet deal! Going to make pie for hubby now!
I have used the Powdered Swerve in frostings before at my daughter's recommendation, and was well pleased with the results. When I discovered I was almost out of my Powdered Swerve AND my regular erythritol mix, I started searching and found this pack. I was delighted to find this bundle that includes both powdered and granulated sweetener. In my opinion, Swerve is an excellent substitute for refined sugar. As a sugar alcohol, it is safe for the diabetic in my family and does not spike my glycemic level, yet measures the same as sugar and tastes like sugar. As I have been working on weight loss and healthy eating, this is an integral component that helps keep me from craving off-plan sweets. One comment about the taste/sensation of products like Swerve - you will enjoy them more if you get off of refined sugar, but it isn't required, and any sweetener that contains Erythritol causes some people to experience a slight cooling effect in their mouth when eating it. I actually no longer notice that, and just enjoy the yumminess of my home made treats! When I opened my Amazon box, I thought at first I only had one bag of Swerve in there, but it is shrink wrapped together - the powdered and granulated bags - and arrived undamaged and ready for me to open. When you start using Swerve, I recommend that you try a little less than the amount of sugar in a recipe, and increase it as desired. Sometimes I use less, and sometimes more, but in general, it tends to be pretty much the same measure as sugar. One last thing - unlike products with xylitol in them, Swerve is not toxic to my dog. PROS: Conducive to weight loss and maintenance Does not spike your glycemic level Safe for diabetics Measures like sugar Tastes like sugar to most people Has both powdered and granulated Swerve - one package of each - in this listing Not toxic to my pup CONS: It is more expensive than refined sugars, but I also no longer have to take as many prescriptions to regulate blood pressure, etc having lost over 50 pounds so that part doesn't bother me at all CONCLUSIONS: I wish it were on Subscribe & Save for the convenience, but I'm going to "adult" and keep watch on my pantry so I don't run out... but if I did run out, I know with Prime I can have my cake in a day or two, and it will be worth the wait! (Without the additional *weight*!!!) Finally! A healthy alternative!
Like a lot of people out there, I've had to cut out all the sugar, grains and starches. The problem is, I love to bake! I also love sweets! Believe me, it hasn't been easy!!! I was constantly looking for alternatives which always lead me to a dead end. So after researching Swerve, I decided to give it a try.......I've used it in cookies, cakes, frostings, put it in my coffee and my smoothies and I have to say, I'm impressed! It doesn't effect your blood sugar so I don't find my heart rate bumped up after using it, works just as good as sugar. I know we all have different taste buds but I didn't experience any bitter after taste. I will say it is very powdery when baking with it, so expect a cloud of dust when mixing! I've noticed when using the powdered sugar in frostings, it runs a lot sweeter than normal powdered sugar, so you will need to adjust accordingly to your individual taste. Very happy with this product and hope they will offer it in larger packages with a discount :)

I'm IN LOVE with this Sweetener!
THIS STUFF IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!! I had to move to eating a no grain/no to low sugar diet due to some health issues. This stuff is a life saver. Right now, I am eating a New York Style Cheesecake I made yesterday and it is amazing. I am ordering more today. That will be my third time buying this product and many more purchases will follow. I can't stand the aftertaste of stevia products (most of them; some of the liquids are ok but not great). I don't do artificial sweeteners. This is my new sweet love!!! There is some sort of mouth coolness I experience with some of my baked goods, like brownies, but it doesn't bother me at all. I do think that the coolness is less of an issue with foods that are refrigerated rather than those eaten room temperature because you are expecting them to be "cool". I've made the two items above plus cannoli filling, different kinds of pound cake, and other goodies and I am very pleased with each and every end product. I made a cream cheese frosting with the powdered one; delicious! I even created a taste testing for two of my relatives using swerve in one and sugar in the other. One person could not tell the difference, the other actually preferred the item made with Swerve. So, yeah...LOVE it! My health issues are resolving and I get to make a cake and eat it too!

An expensive purchase, but better than others... (read on)
Ok so far I have noticed a few things about Swerve vs. other "non-sugar" sweeteners. I hope you find this review helpful. I am on the Ketogenic diet, which means, among other things, that I cannot eat sugars and carbs. I also am insulin-resistant (/prediabetic) and therefore cannot tolerate sugar the way other people can. So I needed to find something that I could use in place of sugar in recipes, etc. Initially, I bought myself a bag of Truvia. (Mentioning this is to compare Swerve to it.) Truvia is derived from Stevia, which is kind of like a natural sugar, without the sugar. The biggest problem with Truvia is that in baked goods and other recipes, I find that Truvia and other Stevia-based sugar substitutes create this gross "sweet but dull" aftertaste that is just a little sickening to me. So I went online and looked up other possibilities- Swerve was mentioned a lot in various articles and recipes so I wanted to give it a shot. Swerve does have a couple more net carbohydrates (I believe it's 5g vs. 3g?) than Truvia, which is, in my situation, not good, but it is such a small difference that I am more happy for no weird aftertaste. Also, this Swerve stuff is VERY expensive. Far more expensive than Truvia, which I purchased in a local grocery store. Typically I find I get better prices on Amazon.com however in this case it seems like this stuff is just very expensive in general. Hopefully these two bags (I got one confectioner's Swerve and one granulated Swerve in ordering this Bakers Bundle- I see others were complaining they got two of the one or the other but I did not have that problem.) will last longer than I think they do because for what I paid for them they should last a long time. I am concerned they will not go very far. It is nice they have it in a bundle of both ways though, that way for some recipes which call for granulated and others that call for confectioners, you have what you need for either. All in all I believe so far I am satisfied with this purchase, but in the future I hope the price may come down a little bit so I can continue to afford healthy baking habits!

Love love love this stuff!
I love this stuff so far! I have used both the granular and confectioner's style in multiple applications. I have regular erythritol that I was using before (even though it is not as sweet as sugar, if I was the only one eating the product I don't mind). For me, the erythritol only has a very slight "cooling" feeling that I don't mind at all and I personally don't taste any aftertaste with Swerve. Everyone's chemical makeup is different, but after reading reviews I was a little nervous to try it especially since it is a bit pricey. I absolutely cannot stand any of the fake sugar tastes and aftertastes (and I am not a fan of the chemicals in them) and stevia is an ok alternative but does have an aftertaste that I am not thrilled with but have lived with so far. Since I did have and use granulated erythritol, I thought it was a rather safe bet to at least give Swerve a try and I am so glad that I did because I honestly love this stuff! I am so happy to be able to bake and eat what I bake and still have it all fall within my regular eating regimen. I only wish that it was not so expensive, but thank goodness I don't have that much of a sweet tooth.

A Must Have! (In your pantry)
The flavor and versatility of this Swerve bundle is great! If you are diabetic or follow a ketogenic diet. Or, if you know how bad sugar is for you. I cook and bake constantly with Swerve, and NO ONE can tell it is not sugar. No nasty aftertaste like most sugar replacements! 1:1 measuring...the brown Swerve is a must have for KETO/PALEO/LOW CARB/DIABETIC cooks! Or anyone wanting the real taste without the sugar. You can use it in everything! Just like sugar! Homemade sugar free marshmallows, BBQ sauce, cheesecake, ice cream, cakes, beverages (including simple syrup as a ingredient to have on had for sweets and all for it, but even to use in adult beverages🍹🍸🧋🧉, even flavored🍋🍒🍓🍉🍎🍍🫐) I have to constantly have all three of the Swerve's on hand! 1 of a number of sugar replacements I have here. By far the best!

Delicate and sweet and a 1:1 ratio sugar replacement!!
This is the salvation to any sweet cravings! I’m on a Keto diet and it’s going so well, but for special occasions I want to be able to join in with family for a treat. My children in particular are really sad if I don’t join them in celebrating by eating a dessert with them. I guess there really is something to the community of food. I ordered this two pack with much skepticism and it is all wiped away!! I’ve used stevia including the pure stuff that isn’t supposed to have an after taste. This is unbelievable in how delicate a sweet taste it lends and also is a 1:1 ratio for baking or making my favorite buttercream frosting! It’s spend AF but, since I do keep my treats to one a week or so, it’s completely worth it!!!!

Lingering after taste when used in excess. Go small on it for recipes
Definitely different from Stevia. Needed to try a replacement for Stevia since it can leave a weird after taste. Bought this duel pack since it was granular AND powdered. Perfect for some recipes I've been wanting to try. Used it first for a chocolate cake I made on Easter. Came out great and tasted like there was real sugar in it. Used only the granular for that. Made some macarons with it next, but I had mixed feelings about Swerve this time. I replaced the sugar on the recipe for Swerve, and the excess amount of it in the cookies left a very weird after taste. It was like a "cold" taste that's difficult to describe. But it lingered for quite some time, even after downing some water and eating something else. Would only recommend using Swerve in small amounts. And if you have a "sugary" dessert to make, try going half and half on substitute sugar. Also, you don't get a lot for the price you pay. Can't say is order it again in the future. But it was worth experimenting with.
