No doubt it is a decent carry on sized luggage. However, for it's price I would expect more. As other say online, the front pocket is useless when the carry-on is packed, as the contents protrude into the front pocket. It's even so bad that the entire front flap bulges, especially the edge between the two bottom hinges. I just hope it never get's caught behind anything when checking the luggage. Only the two hinges and the lock on the top hold the front in place. The front flap also prevents the suitcase from being taken into the rain as it easily allows water to get in, the zipper was ok though. The quiet wheels are ok, but not as good as suitcases with Hinomoto wheels, which are featured on cheaper suitcases of other brands. There is no pocket on the inside but the inside flaps hold everything neatly in place, the zippers are smooth, items won't shift much. As for looks, I think it looks great, just hope they release a version without front flap, it would allow for more space (which is already a lot!) and make for a sturdier case, as the rest of the case is very sturdy and well build. And don't forget the lifetime warranty, which is how I found this brand in the first place.

What all other cases aspire to be… I travel extensively for work. Week in week out. This case is built like a tank. It’s light, it’s perfect if you pack correctly for at least 7 days. Ample room for more - and considering the price of other cases in the premium category - the lifetime warranty makes this the best in class case… if you have this sort of money to throw at luggage - don’t hesitate, just buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

I am super happy with the quality of the bag, my girlfriend bought the same bag a few days later. Just note that when the bag is full, it becomes a bit more difficult to close the laptop compartment but this is normal thing considering that there are restrictions in cabin baggage size. Going through airport security is now a breeze.

This case is of extremely high quality and moves effortlessly with the added bonus of a almost flat surface inside. To the outside handles rails. To be completely honest I returned my case as it did not meet all my personal needs and exchanged it for an alternative Briggs and Riley product.

So well built, 5 domestic flights in small commuter aircraft and two long haul flights completed so far, not a scratch. Strong, and sturdy, glides easily and locks are well made with TSA combo. A major plus is the front laptop compartment, with hard cover for protection and opens independently of the main case. Do not overpack the case, that will result in the laptop being compressed from within! I have had a lot of Tumi luggage from the past that is being replaced gradually, I feel the overall quality of Briggs and Riley surpasses Tumi, the only real competitor is Rimowa, but the price of Rimowa is not competitive!!!
