Epson XP-4155
I had to replace my faithful Canon Pixma for the annoying reason that it was too old and I couldn't find any downloadable drivers for it.I did a lot of research online and, in particular, on Amazon and plumped for the Epson XP-4155 as it suited my price range and (fairly basic) needs. I need to be able to print decent quality documents in either colour or black and white; I'm resettling in France and the bureaucracy here demands seemingly endless copies of important personal papers which it then loses and demands all over again. Oh joy.The printer arrived today, ahead of delivery date, just in the box it's packaged, no outer. That said, there's no damage to box or printer. It's quite light and relatively small.I had no problems setting it up via the website. I did hit some teething problems which may be particular to me or perhaps of relevance to others:1. I chose it because it has a USB port. I thought this meant I could plug in a USB stick direct. You can't. The socket on the printer is a squarish one and just for linking the printer to the computer, which I also want to do because the internet signal here in the sticks can be unreliable. This was proven when I tried to print from the computer and it failed.2. You don't get a printer-USB-computer lead (to be fair I wasn't expecting one) but learn from my mistake and order one to come with the printer.3. The control panel is on the front of the printer. I knew this when I bought it but what I didn't factor in is that the shelf it is on means I have to bend down to look at it. This puts me in weird varifocal territory as well as an uncomfortable position so I'll be installing a higher shelf. For reference the current shelf stands approx. 70cms from floor level. I reckon just over 1m will see me right.I have been able to print copies of documents and, at the moment, the quality of print is sharp but the colour isn't as full (saturated?) as with the Canon. One reviewer said the ink they got was all but dry so it may improve with replacements, although the current ink cartridges came in sealed plastic with the printer. Finally, the control panel and print info are very different to what I'm used to. When I selected print from the computer the default came up as landscape and there was no option I could see to select black/greyscale or colour. Making a copy direct from the printer involved a lot of up, down, left and right selection and didn't seem at all intuitive. I am happy to be proved wrong - I hope I am - and that with time I'll find it much easier to select the settings I want. For the money I don't think it's a bad buy but I'm still sore I had to replace my old printer.

I like Epson and would buy again
Normally use a usb connection. On this occasion I wanted a wireless connection. The written instructions are not bad but have some unclear instructions. I found a video demo and made it straight forward. I could see where I had misunderstood. Now working and I am very pleased. I like having multiple cartridges. It works best for what I need.

Good , until it crashes.
2.5 years in a home office and it’s failing to print. Was a good device when it worked. Also , recently you can’t leave paper in the feed otherwise it prints rubbish until the paper runs out.Wish me luck trying to get my money back !

Keeping fingers crossed.
Was surprisingly easy to set up. Great colour quality. I’m just so unlucky with printers that I’m sure the minute I’ve finished writing this it’ll break down! It’s a good size and I’ve downloaded the app so can do more than I expected. Hope the ink lasts a decent amount of time and doesn’t cost the earth to replace. Just keeping my fingers crossed.

Probably works??
Never used as the delivery box was dropped about 5 feet over my gate so i sent it back worried for its performance after that. I imagine it would be a good product from a trusted brand.

Smart and small footprint
This does take a long time to instal and you must have a wifi router to use it as it has no USB connection using only WiFi.
