An enjoyable read
Well written tale involving a maiden, her horse and her wicked father. The author enables the reader to envisage the scenes within the story.

Sweet story but somehow lacking
Loved the characters and the theme of the story but didn't buy into the narrative, there is a juvenile feel to the writing that made it somehow lacking.I finished it more out of duty than desire to know the story, no urge to read the rest of the series.

Everything you want from a romance, and so much more
Characters that sparkle with wit, a love that seems doomed, wonderful supporting characters that you want to read whole books about, steamy scenes that will leave you breathless... This romance has everything you're looking for in a Regency Romance, but you will also find surprises that I, at least, have never found in a romance before. Like a leading female character that manages to be charming, stubborn and completely in charge all at the same time - even of her own desire. Like thoughtprovoking passages about self-determination and the autonomy of the body. Don't worry, these are not preachy, you'll be so caught up in the story you won't even notice, except that you'll catch yourself pondering stuff that romances usually don't make you ponder about.I could go on and on about how much I loved this, but the only way to get the full experience is to read it. I promise you won't be disappointed.
