Shame on me for spending a ridiculous amount of money on these, but I can't find that delicious Mexican chocolate flavor in anything else. I would give these five stars for taste, and one star for value.

It was a gift that was received with pleasure and I would like to try it . myself

I tried the Mexican hot chocolate. The chocolate coated outside tastes most like this flavor, and there is no after taste or chemical flavor like many of the bars with artificial sweeteners or flavors. However, the inside was like eating an RX bar which is too sticky for me and I mostly only taste the date.The packaging is very nice. I probably won't buy again due to the date flavor and stickyness. I appreciate their attempt at some different flavors. The bar is small and there really is not much protein.

My 4 yo son, who has many allergies (not peanuts thank goodness!) and because of this is also picky, absolutely LOVES the PB&J bars! Yes they are pricey. But so is that terrible for you cup of coffee you pay for at Starbucks. Everyone gets to choose what they indulge in and spend a little extra on. At least these are good for him! I can make them part of a balanced meal. I just wish I could find them on more store shelves!

I enjoy all kinds of protein bars and while this one was on the lower end of the protein content spectrum (10 grams), I was intrigued by the peanut butter and jelly flavor. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches have always been, and still are, one of my favorite lunch time meals. :)The product packaging is perfect - eye catching, vibrant, and premium looking.The texture is VERY sticky, chewy and taffy like. It is firm to bite into and then just sticks to everything in your mouth. I didn't find this to be the case with the Mexican Hot Chocolate and Churro flavors, only this one.The Peanut Butter and Jelly does have a good flavor. I could taste both the peanut butter (prominent flavor) and the strawberry "jelly". I would have preferred a grape "jelly" over a strawberry but this was still quite good. You get crunchy bits of peanuts in the bar which helps break up the smooth texture.The bars are a bit tricky to remove from the wrappers due to their stickiness, I had to open them very carefully to avoid the wrapper sticking to the bar itself and ripping.If you are on a gluten free or dairy free diet, you may enjoy these. Personally, I would recommend the Churro (definitely my fave) or the Mexican Hot Chocolate over these but everyone has different tastes!

These protein bars are perfect as a snack, after a workout, or while outdoors.Positives:These do have a good taste, especially if you love Mexican hot chocolate. They are a good size to put in your backpack, gym bag, or in your pocket. They are great as a snack, after a workout, or while outdoors. They have a good amount of protein in them.Negatives:I tried these and so did my son. He liked them as is, I thought they were way too sticky. They really stick to your teeth. You may want to be careful if you have teeth issues or wear dentures.Overall:They have a great taste but really are sticky. If you don't mind the stickiness, they have just enough protein and have a good taste.

The best thing about these food bars is how filling they are. They are perfect when you are hungry but really want to control how much you consume. At 200 calories each, these will fit into diets, but they fill you up like something with a lot more calories! I really like their texture, too. I am showing my age when I say I used to love Space Food Sticks back in the early 1970s, and these are the same texture of those---sort of like very thick and compressed peanut butter.These are tasty, but in a generic food bar kind of way. I got Churro ones, and I can't say they tasted anything like churros. They tasted somewhat sweet and a little tiny bit salty---like most every food bar without add-ins that I've ever tasted. It's more the texture here than the taste, but at this price point, I kind of expected more of a taste treat. However, I did like these quite well, and you might too!

It was still chewy but much softer and easier to eat.The flavor was good but definitely NOT chocolatey. I was expecting a lot more chocolate flavor but I tasted more cinnamon and spice. You get a bit of cocoa flavor in there but the spices overwhelm it a bit. Definitely not a complaint as the flavor is still VERY good!Unlike with the PB&J bars, these were easy to remove from the wrappers. They weren't super sticky and the wrapper didn't rip off and stick to them when trying to eat them.I like that these contain 5 grams of fiber, too!If you are on a gluten free or dairy free diet, you may really enjoy these!
