17" Monitor Square Monitor 1280 X 1024 with 45% sRGB Color Correction and 5:4 Aspect Ratio, 75 Hz, VESA Mountable, VGA, HDMI, TN Panel

Widescreen monitors are great these days, but not so great for Kiosks and application that do not require all the real estate offered by a widescreen monitor. I bought this monitor as it as the perfect fit for a project I am working on that required a square monitor of about this size as it works with retro gaming. The graphics look good on this screen. I am happy with the purchase as such a low price point.

I had been using a 30 year old 19" Viewsonic LCD monitor for my home beer brewing tap list display, and it finally went unalive. As the display is perched atop my tap tower I needed something light, using a 4:3 format - and preferably inexpensive. This 17" display is perfect for this task: super light, compact base, vivid colors - and uber inexpensive! Score!But...when I unboxed it I noticed it had a glossy protective film, which I removed - to find an even glossier screen surface! It is the glossiest screen I believe I've ever encountered, and I expect most people would find it annoying as a desktop monitor as it reflects everything quite well.Fortunately my application really doesn't mind the glossy screen as one doesn't spend that much time in front of a tap list :)Cheers!

This is just what I needed when my laptop screen isn’t enough for work. Color and contrast very good resolution very good plug-in play comes with HDMI and regular monitor cable. Very happy with this purchase.

THIS IS 5:4 ASPECT RATIO, NOT 4:3. THIS LISTING IS SUPER INACCURATE, AND NOW I HAVE TO RETURN THIS MONITOR AND FIND AN ACTUAL 4:3 MONITOR.I attached a screenshot of a video that is definitely 4:3, and you can see that there are black bars on this display.If you google the resolution, you will also find that 1280 X 1024 is 5:4.

Very nice compact monitor. Perfect for the gamer in your family. High definition and great pixel image. Purchased for a beginner computer gamer. Small and easy to store away or kept out without taking up so much space. Hooked up and worked great with his new gaming keyboard. We absolutely love the built in tilt that allows the monitor to more pretty much in any direction with ease. Overall a great gaming monitor and we are very happy with its performance.

This monitor is great for working from home! Comes with everything needed to hook up to my laptop. My job requires me to use multiple screens so this has been a lifesaver for that. The display quality is great, the colors are very vibrant in the picture is clear. I am very happy with this purchase.

4:3 monitors are getting scarce. Bought this August 2024. Works fine, good value for money. 2 inputs: HDMI & VGA. I use HDMI. Two minor gripes. 1. Highly reflective screen, but I don't have window behind me, so it's okay. 2. Stand is stable if you don't bump or touch the screen. But if you do, TILT. For vertical adjustment, stand comes with 2 sections of tube, each 2½" long. Use one for 3" stand; use both for 5½" stand. For fine adjust, pile magazines or whatever under. No regrets.
