First, the basic description describes one set of tongs & the picture shows one set of tongs, but you actually receive two. That was a nice surprise. These are very, very cute, but they are small. These are ideal for sugar cubes, appetizers, olives, small snack items, sliced pieces of fruit. They are well made, but also very light weight, so you won't have to hold your breath too much if you are using fine china, or if your sugar bowl is fragile. For less than $10, you receive two tongs that look cute and work well. Good value for your money!

I needed some mini tongs to use for a luncheon party and found these. They were the best I could find without spending a small fortune. They are a little on the short side, and I don't particularly care for the wide, squared-off joint. That's just my personal opinion though. They're sturdy, nice looking, well made, and they do the job. That's what counts.

Nice little tongs. I use it to pick and take cold-cuts and cheese slices. Good for the job!

Purchased since ice tongs weren't included with my ice bucket. These are a little small for that purpose but we've been using them for serving asparagus & also coldcuts & such but are extremely small. I probably would not have purchased if I had gotten to see them in person but now I do use them.

Item is made of 3 different pieces of metal. The connector piece is of much sturdier and different material, the handles are then lightly spot welded to that. There seems to be a limited possibility that this could be considered a sound technique. This item had been tossed into the box with other items (pepper corns and dried mushrooms) and it arrived broken. Now to get credit, I have to return, not really sure this makes sense with the price of gas these days and item is less than $5. I will be looking for tongs of one piece construction and preferably heavy gauge stainless.Update, returned today, it was probably packaged better broken than when it shipped loose

I just received 3 of these tongs. On first inspection, they are a bit smaller than I'd like for a serving utensil. However, my primary disappointment is the prominent black lettering featuring the Norpro name on one side of the tongs (the side cleverly facing away from the camera in the photograph). Also, the packaging was insufficient to prevent little scratches in the stainless finish.

I used these for the candy buffet at my wedding, and they were very cute and elegantly simple. The only downfall being the company name on the side, but it wasn't terribly hard to scrape off. They're good quality and cute.
