OXO Steel Bottle Opener

It’s sleek with its matte silver finish and a good size too (decently small so it’s not taking up a lot of space but big enough to use and be comfortable in your hand). It’s got some heft to it, so it should last. The little rubber square grip on one side keeps it from sliding around too much when it’s on a flat surface and it opens bottles easily enough. Also it’s not difficult to pick up when you need it like some other designs (I’m looking at you, long flat steel bottle openers I see often at bars). I’ve liked it enough to get a second one a couple years after the first one. Quality seems the same, so very much happy with that.

This is the best bottle opener that I have ever had. To begin with it has a solid weight that shows it is made of high-quality material. There is a soft pad in the center that helps to keep it from slipping out of my grip as well. It has withstood regular use over the course of several years without a lot of wear. The twist side functions very well, and the pop side has a comfortably wide lip to give good purchase on the cap. I feel this would be a great gift for anyone who ever has to open bottles. I accidentally left mine when I moved, and ordered another!

The OXO steel bottle opener is sturdy and has a nice, heavy feel in your hand. It’s well-constructed with the quality you’d expect from OXO. Great to keep at home or even in the car—feels reliable and built to last. Simple, solid, and does exactly what you need it to.

This thing is heavy duty. You could literally use it as a self defense weapon, it is a serious piece of cast metal. This is nice because you never have to worry about it bending or breaking like some of the cheaper bartender style bottle openers. It works exactly like you would expect, nothing new there. The handle is very comfortable and ergonomic, there is no sharp edges digging into your skin it is all smooth and rounded. One end is for bottle caps. They work like any other. But it is larger than most other ones which makes it easier to slip onto the top of the bottle quickly or you could use it for a larger size bottle which is nice. The other side is for twist caps. This seemed stupid to me when I first saw it, but I actually have used it many times now. It makes twist tops as easy as a normal cap now. No more need to grab a towel to put over the cap so you don't hurt your hands and to get grip, instead just use this and it pops right off without any effort. This is worth every penny. Really happy with it.

Oxo makes great kitchen tools, and this opener is no exception--highly recommended. It has heft which adds to the ergonomic feel, which is good unless you want something lighter. One end lifts traditional bottle caps, and the other removes twist caps.

Exactly what it should be. It's actually heavier than I thought it would be, but in a good way. The word that comes to mind is "choncky". The circular, bottle twist side is SLIGHTLY looser than I would prefer, so if you press down on it hard enough over the cap, it can slide past it onto the neck of the bottle. Completely not an issue for me, as I use that side to hang it on the wall. The "business" end is FLAWLESS. This product is like 70% function and 30% display. Are there more practical bottle openers, ya..... sure.... maybe. But honestly, this just feels right, hanging up next to my calendar....... waiting for a fun, new beverage to experience. Buy this thing. It's everything you need, most of what you want and it's only 10 bucks. If this was $25, I would probably rate this a 4/5, but at this price, just get it. CHEERS!

Super resistant Très pratique. Pas d'effort

It opens bottles either levering them off or using the circular thing to twist them off. It is really well made with some heft about it. Great texture it just feels 'capable'. A good purchase I even gave one each to my sons. Get one yourself.
