Great product. Fit nd finish were excellent.

So glad I caved and bought these door handles to update our home. Great price and very easy to install, I did it my myself but two sets of hands would definitely make it easier. I did have to adjust the lever position for one of my right handed doors. The directions to do that got confusing but essentially you just swap the lock cylinder with the key cylinder and reconnect. The pin provided worked fine just make sure to push down hard enough when reconnecting everything to hear the click. Overall, great purchase and I would buy again for the price! Can’t wait until the privacy ones arrive tomorrow!

This door handle is is well built, properly finished, stout, attractive, and it is as advertised. It meets my color requirement and fits my exterior door. So, the product is pretty good. However, there are some aspects of the product that I don't particularly like. 1. There are some plastic inserts in each handle that have sharp points on them that stick out and can be felt when opening and closing the door. I assume that these sharp points are leftover from the plastic part molding process, and should have been trimmed off of the parts, but that takes time and costs money. 2. I don't like the feel of the handles. The edges of the handles are not rounded enough to my liking; they feel somewhat sharp. They are far from being able to cause harm; it's just a feel I don't like. The handles I had to replace after 11 years of daily use had much more rounded off edges, and had a nice feel when using them. The rest of the house has the original handles, and from that addional perspective this product doesn't match the other, existing fixtures very well. Unfortunately, I don't know the brand name of the original door handles. The only reason I rank it as a 4 is because of the sharp plastic points. I will try to return it and look for another product that is more suitable to our house.

My door lever handle in my back door messed up and I needed to replace it. This door handle is very nice and went into the space easily except I needed my friend to come over to hold the outside part while I screwed in the long screws on the inside. It was easy to replace it. This was my first time trying to do this. I did watch a YouTube video before I did it. The door handle replacement is bronze & looks very nice.

The lock unit was easy to install to replace my existing door handle. It works well and the lock works just fine.

I’ve been using this handle on my front door for awhile now. It was simple to install, but I was surprised at how “cheap” it felt when I grabbed the lever to open my door. The handle is flimsy-feeling (despite drilling it tightly into place), as if the inside is hollow. And, on top of everything, the internal locking mechanism managed to get itself locked up on its own (still trying to figure out what happened) and it left my husband and I stuck outside. Needless to say, I’m upgrading already.

Love this door handle! We replaced our deadbolt with a smart lock that's black so we needed a black door handle as well. This one is beautiful color, seems solid and durable. There is no sticking which we had a major sticking problem with our last handle. We also need to replace the weather stripping as well, so that may have had something to do with it. Lol. All in all, a great choice for a modern designed door handle. The only thing I liked about the previous one we had that this one doesn't have is that we were able to push down on the handle from the inside to unlock it. This one doesn't have that feature but may be something for the manufacturers to consider....

I never found out about the "Elegant" or the "Secure". There's nothing "Simple" about swapping out the door handles for a door that swings in the other direction. I gave up in total frustration about 3 or 4 hours later. The docs say to use their included tool to push a pin through a tiny little hole in the Rosetta or whatever they called it. After about 45 minutes, I had bent and had to straighten out their silly tool. I've done a dozen or more door knobs and I've never had so much trouble that I couldn't get it - until now. There's no pin. It's more like a fairly thin rectangular thing when you turn the handle to (supposedly) the right spot and hold it there (It's spring-loaded, of course.) Holding it just like that, without calling for another set of hands, I could not get that rectangular thing to move, even a little. I ended up getting a small torx bit and beating it against the counter and, somehow, the handle finally came off. So, I did the other handle (they need to be switched with each other. ) Now I had a huge mess, and, trying to keep track of which handle goes where, try as I might, I couldn't get either handle back on. At this point, it was no longer secure or elegant. I've ordered another one - a Qwikset. I don't even think I'm going to send this one back. I've just had it and don't need any more grief. I'll let the curbside trash service take care of it. I also ordered a Yamiry fingerprint deadbolt lock at the same time, and got that installed, no problem at all! SO IT'S NOT ME; that one was almost a pleasure to install and it's definitely a pleasure AFTER it IS installed.

this is a good door handle but it arrived without any keys. Box said to contact Berlin Modisch for customer assistance. They referred me back to Amazon who offered a price reduction as compensation. Since the door already has a dead bolt, I accepted that and I am happy.
