Very warm and comfortable wool socks great with 6" hiking boots.
Very warm socks and top quality. Not bulky but comfortable. 70 percent Merino wool super comfy. You feet stay dry though eventually the socks finally will get damp if your feet sweat a lot, but you don't get cold. They do a good job of wicking mosture. I have worn them outdoors below zero up to 60 degree weather this winter. Your feet don't get tired as quickly. They hold up in the wash too but I wash in cold water with Costco laundry detergent not Tide, go easy on the laundry soap and dry in the delicate cycle. Do that and the fabric does not pill. If they are damp they air dry because of the open weave. I bought many pairs, because I like to change my socks twice a day. It is nice having 2 colors in the pack, brown and black. I do think they seem to last longer when you change them frequently. Zero cotton in these socks, remember, cotton kills. These are really good socks for 6" Timberland boots or L.L. Bean. Not a super tall boot sock though more like crew length socks or a bit taller. They stay put on my calves and do not sag. Watch the price it fluctuates a lot.

Definitely would purchase again
I really enjoy how dry my feet stay in these as I work in construction for a living and I'm in work boots all day they seem to last a while compared to other wool socks definitely will be purchasing again

Half what they used to be
Been buying these for about 4 years and it’s been about a year since my last purchase before this latest one.. they are an out half as thick as they used to be. I could see through them when I put them on. Won’t be buying again.

They'd make good cool weather hikers
I'm a size 10. I ordered the size in the middle of the range. They arrived somewhat larger than I need. Once through the wash, dried on high heat, and now they're about right or maybe a smidge small. They're thicker than they appear in the photo. They'd make good cool weather hikers. I wore them snowboarding and they were great. If they're really merino wool, then its a blend, because they're not as soft as I think when I think 'Merino.'If you're intending to wear these with shoes that fit perfectly with thinner socks, find something else. If your feet are at the larger end of the range, get the next bigger size and shrink them down in the dryer or hang dry them. If you're on the smaller end of the range, they'll be perfect.Overall, it was a solid purchase, but they're not on par with the expensive high-end wool socks like SmartWool.

Realtree Wool socks
My feet for years have always been cold in the winter.I find that because my feet sweat, I always had to change my socksor i was chilled to the bone. Hunting requires alot of walking thus moreactivity causes socks to become damp.I finally gave into wearing 85% wool, and found it was the most comfortable. It is not scratchy, elastic crew uppers slide on easyand the padded toe andheel are very comfortable.I wear them to work now.I don't let them dry in the drier but lay them on top of the drier, turningthem over as the drier runs. They dry just fine and don't shrink.

Nice but shrunk! A lot!!
It shrunk up first wash looks like a baby sock now next to my hubby’s wool blend carhartt socks which did not shrink at all. See picture, carhartt on the left this sock on the right. They used to be the same size believe it or not! Shame because the hubby said he likes them a lot, nice socks, decent priced, but just don’t put them in the dryer!! And I can’t live like that. Laundry needs to be easy care.

Husband Loves, Buying More..Soft, Warm, Comfortable, and DRY!
Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he LOVES them...wants to buy more! They say these keep his feel warm and dry, and are really comfortable and not super bulky which can be an issue with winter boot socks. Definitely recommend these!

Thinner than I hoped
I have been buying Realtreel Merino socks for several years from a national big box store, but they haven't stocked them for 6 months. I was hoping for the same socks, but these are 1/2 the thickness, not much better than cotton crew socks.
