Ghost Pepper - Habanero - Jalapeno Flakes 3 Pack

A solid trio. Jalapeno is mild and adds a nice flavor to things. Habanero, I personally think is the best tasting spicy pepper. You can get spicier but you sacrifice flavor and similarly you may be able to get more flavor from a less spicy pepper (Red pepper, black pepper) but you definitely sacrifice heat. Ghost pepper is not bad, but simply doesn't have the taste of habanero. However, if you want to bam something up with a blast from your spice weasel, then Ghost Pepper will do it. If you're not a hotmen, be sparing and careful. Do not touch your eyes after handling. Also works best if you say, "I ain't afraid of no ghost" while you sprinkle it on your food.

This collection of spices quickly became a must with nearly every meal. The entire set is worth trying, but the ghost pepper flakes are where it's at for me. I even take them along to restaurants. The level of spiciness is easy to control. While these are from some of the hottest peppers in the world they satisfy those who like a challenge, but a light sprinkle will leave your food at a moderate level of hotness. Use them in anything that goes well with red pepper flakes. The habanero and jalapeno flakes each offer the concentrated flavor of their respective peppers and are good in Mexican dishes and on burgers, but may be a surprise with other dishes. I suggest testing in an inconspicuous area before dousing your food with them. The package these spices arrived in was nearly destroyed during shipping and would benefit from a box instead of an envelope, but the spice containers were undamaged. If this had been intended as a gift it would have been unacceptable, but seeing as how I ordered them for personal use I couldn't care less about the packaging. These have replaced red pepper flakes in my home as well as having added additional dimensions of flavor to my meals. I might also add that my home has differing preferences on ideal spice level from moderate to extreme, and none have been dissatisfied. Overall I love this set and these will always have a home in my pantry.

Awesome product. Fast shipping!!! Heat level seems perfect so far and taste/flavor is great!!! I love it and have already order another to take to work with me. Have sent to several friends of mine that use crushed red pepper often and they will be ordering soon also. If you like spicy foods and like having multiple options at home, as far as how to spice up the snacks/dinners,, you need to order this. Somewhat expensive but very well worth it and will go a super long way. Will be ordering more for sure! Thank you!!!

I really enjoy the spicy two. The jalapeño have a good flavor but aren’t spicy at all. The ghost pepper you don’t need a lot as it’s very spicy. The jalapeño was used up the fastest as it’s easy to use a lot. I recommend buying individual as I can justify the price on jalapeño you can literally use it in less than a week if you enjoy spice.

I used all three and olive oil to make a hot oil that I use for Chinese dumplings, pizza, etc. Be careful. These peppers are the real deal. I used one part jalapeno flakes, halved that amount for the Habanero flakes, and then halved that amount for the Ghost pepper flakes. It's milder than I want, but it is a good place to start. For me, if you start sweating around the eyes FIRST, then it is hot enough.

I've always been a huge fan of spicy food, but usually dried peppers are just way too weak. There's no kick in it, nothing. But these are different. Sprinkle some of this stuff on and you'll soon be reaching for water. These Sonoran peppers give you three varieties of peppers, each with different levels of spiciness (Jalapeno -> Habanero -> Ghost Pepper) and will always add a deliciously spicy touch to your food. I've had guests who had tried it and were surprised at the kick they get. It's hot enough to feel it, but not so spicy that they're not fit for consumption. These are in that sweet spot of heat that I would heartily recommend to anyone that's a fan of spicy food.

***** Product arrived on 2/6/2020, approximately 5 days before schedule. I tried a handful of each of the flakes and they were perfect for what i had intended. This set of flakes provides for a range of tastes from somewhat spicy to hot. They may not satisfy those that are looking for the super hot Reapers but Sonoran has a veriety pack with super hot flakes. I am very happy with this assortment.

This product is no joke, the ghost peppers will light you up. Myself I eat a lot of spicy food so it wasn't as bad as it could be. Pro tip though if your not sure you can handle it but you still want to try this product have a glass of milk nearby. Milk breaks down the chemical that makes your mouth burn where water helps a little but does nothing to soothe your mouth. All in all good product at a good price, when I'm out ill probably re-order.
