Seed Saving

Informative and educational book. Nice reference section for looking up specific plants. Unfortunately, the author never addresses how to store seeds long term, which was my primary question when I purchased the book. So that was disappointing. Also, the author invites you to email him with further questions, but he never responded to the brief email I sent (and it’s been over 3 months).

I am not done reading this book yet but so far it is very informative and in a way that anyone can understand. This would also be a great book to go with a seed library. I am enjoying this book!

I borrowed a copy from my local library and I was so impressed that I got my own copy. My go to for seed saving.

Not bad for the price

Great little beginner's guide reference book for seed savers who want to know how to save seeds, which plants cross and the correct methods for growing plants for seeds.

I was really hoping for a primer on seed saving to learn the techniques of how to do so. However the repetitive anti-science lecturing got old really quick and while the rest of the book may or may not be a gem of information on the topic of seed saving, I had to give up on it. I wanted to learn more about gardening, not be badgered about the author's feelings on science and technology. It seemed like every time a new topic was brought up, there was a quick diversion back to science being bad. It felt too exhausting to continue reading.
