I didn't know this could be a thing like a knife being too rough, but these knifes are extremely rough. I use serrated knifes mainly for kitchen tasks, rather than as steak knifes and these pretty much tear up most foods rather than cutting through it cleanly. Compared to other serrated knifes these replace, these are rippers, rather than cutters. Seems the serrated edges are slightly non-flush on the blade and that causes the extra tearing.Even for meats and steak this is not great as the meat also gets torn.Quality of knifes seems great though and they look nice, maybe over time they might mellow a bit...

These knives are great. The only ones I've found so far that are close to this quality were $40.00.This is a great price for wonderful knives that are sturdy and look good too. They look and feel expensive, but aren't.

Some of the negative reviews are slamming these knives for not doing every kitchen task. They’re steak knives; not paring knives or utility knives. They’re meant for cooked meat, and they do the job well. They have a nice look and feel. We’ll see how they hold up, but can’t go wrong at that price point.

Great for every day use. Always wash in dishwasher and the are in great condition. Very comfortable and durable
