A: Iam a lady owner and I built the chair with no problems using my little electric drill and it also very comfortable

**Q: can it be used without attaching armrest?**
A: the arm rests form part of the support for the chair back, it could in theory be used without arm rests, but i think you would find the back panel would start to bend/come away

I think this is the best you can get for the price.Pros: Classic design, comfortable. No wobble, solid construction, and the height adjustment and tilt work smoothly and reliably.Cons: On the downside: the assembly will make you sweat. Because of the tight construction and limited precision, you have to use some force to get the screw holes to line up perfectly.
