Bosch Cordless Hedge Trimmer and Grass Shear - EasyShear

Have just purchased this awesome little tool. Have been out in the garden this morning and used it on my small grass slope, and I have to say it’s fantastic! A small tool with a powerful punch. Why did I not purchase one of these before. It’s quick to charge up, light, and doesn’t make your hand ache. It saves the mess of a strimmer too. It’s great value for the money, as it is two tools in one. I haven’t used the hedge cutter yet, but I have no doubt it will be great too. Love Bosch tools, they are made well. This Bosch EasyShear is charged up by using a plug socket, the charging lead is provided and I used my phone charger plug, so versatile. I 100% recommend this product. Thank you Bosch and Thank you Amazon

Great tool. simple to use and a good value. I use it for trimming the edges of borders. It's perfect for my city garden. Only giving four stars because changing the blades takes some getting used to, and the manual doesn't explain it properly. It charges quickly and has good autonomy.

Is it easy to use? YES Does it get multiple trimming and shearing jobs completed in one charge? YES Is it easy to clean? YES Is it easy to operate and hold? YES & YES Is it value for money? YES/NO Is it easy to store? YES Does it make a noise? YES but nothing too intrusive Does it jam? YES but only if you try and cut a branch thicker than the recommended 8mm Would you recommend it? YES!!!!! Is it robust? YES So far, this Bosch Cordless EasyShear has been used for shearing grass around the borders of my 90 sq meters lawn, trimming/tidying a large mature Wilson’s Honeysuckle hedge and other small bushes with great success. Attached are areas of lawn, hedges and small bushes that have benefited from the Bosch Cordless Easy Shear. I love it!!

I'm a lazy gardener with a big wild garden. I find shears a real drag because they're never sharp enough to carve through unruly tufts of grass around raised beds etc, but this little beauty just carves through the lawn growth around pots, greenhouses and so on. It's like a beard trimmer for the garden! The hedge blade is less impressive, but sorts out ground ivy and new hedge growth. Remember, this is a small hand tool, for instant use, not a serious strimmer or trimmer, but that's also its great strength because it's instantly available for a quick and effective tidy up. It's very sharp, the battery goes on for ages (bearing in mind this is a quick tidy up tool) and it's light and easy to use.

This is a very handy gadget if your hands are strong, hence 3 stars, had I been able to switch it on it would have been 5. My son can use it and it's very good. If you don't have anyone to help out in the garden and have arthritis or sore hands this isn't for you.

Brilliant little handheld trimmer. The grass cutters were ideal for cutting round the stepping stones in my lawn. Did the whole garden including edges and there was still some charge left. I have arthritis in knees so can’t get down to do this properly. I would really recommend this trimmer. It was delivered in two or three days too.

Good little gadget but struggles with branches over 5 mm to 1 cm thick. It’s good on plants but struggled cutting some of the Salvia back. Haven’t tried the grass cutter yet.

The Bosch Cordless Hedge Trimmer and Grass Shear is a great little tool for smaller trimming jobs and edging the garden lawn. It’s ideal for tidying up areas where a full-size trimmer would be overkill. There are cheaper versions out there, but I’m really glad I went with the Bosch. The build quality is excellent, it works efficiently, and feels reliable in use. Another big plus is how easy it is to change the cutters — quick and hassle-free. Overall, a well-made, practical garden tool that does exactly what it’s meant to do. Highly recommended for light garden maintenance.

Exactement ce dont j'avais besoin. Léger, maniable, efficace. Bonne autonomie. Parfait pour supprimer les jeunes pousses indésirables.

Efficace, très utile pour les bords des pelouses et les petits endroits, taille haie puissant malgré sa petite taille

Rating is 4.3 out of 5, so I had great hopes. For this price, it should be professional quality, not a well made toy. The "Cordless Hedge Trimmer with Rotatable Handle for Milwaukee M18 Battery" (also on Amazon) is half the price and twice as useful as this item. This item is light, tiny, and heavy grass jams it. Perfect for a small hand and a very small garden, but that's it. It took a month for delivery from Denmark, and the package was damaged. The unadvertised 20% import duty to Canada was an unwelcome surprise.

Nice and handy product as it does it’s work!!

Great grass clippers, lightweight and easy to use.
