A little dab will do ya! I added just a tiny little sprinkle on both layers of our little cat scratch box, hoping to get our cats to attention to it, instead of our furniture. So far it's working. I do know I'll have to add more than a sprinkle to keep them interested, but a sprinkle did get their attention. To hold it for a longer period of time, or to get them coming back for more, then I will need to add more -- this is a good thing, this means this product doesn't hang around. My cats aren't going to be rolling all over it, all day long like they're addicted.The smell for "us mere humans" reminds me of oregano with a little punch of something else. I personally wouldn't want to breath it in all day, but I'm not a cat. I think it's a great value for the amount of nip you're getting and it's not thick at all. But has been processed as what you'd find in your dried oregano section of the spice/herb aisle.The packaging arrived with safety plastic around the lid, which when torn off, you then have a second layer of safety - by a sealed paper label, you'll need to remove. I recommend this product, simply because of the amount your getting for the cost is a great value, the entertainment your kitties will give you without you feeling as if you've drugged them, and the care the company has taken in insuring that they're sending you a product that they are trying to insure that is not tampered.

Totally worth it, so much better than the grocery store. I have 3 cats, one of them never really reacted to catnip, so I assumed she was of the 15% that won't have a reaction. This catnip made her go crazy. This is a large amount and oz for oz, cheaper than Kroger's or Walmart's while being a way better quality and a more convenient container. Very satisfied.

Some of my cats really like this catnip, some don't. I suppose they have preferences just like people do. However, some of the stems in it seem like potential choking hazards. They're somewhat long, thin and stiff. I try to remove as many of them as I can before I give it to them. I may not be buying any more because of this issue.

My two cats absolutely love this catnip. When I put it out for them they roll around in for a bit, eat a little and then pretty much go into overdrive playing.
