Great Reading---Very little photography.
I am very pleased with the text but a bit disappointed by the lack of photographs. I purchased this book for a friend as a gift and am very glad that I purchased two other volumes which were mainly photographic in nature to accompany this volume. I will say that since I purchased the other two books, it wasn't quite the disappointment it would have been if I had only purchased this one book. Great for reading but if you want photographs, look elsewhere.

Learned a lot!
I have been obsessed with the Titanic for most of my life. I'm always wanting to learn more and more about what happened, how the ship has changed over time and of course the survivors. This book is so good and it is perfect for anyone who is interested in the Titanic. I've learned even more from this book.

Great book for kids maybe grade three and up with plenty of pictures. Good for history/social studies. Easy to read. We went to see the Titanic display in Las Vegas and our six-year-old granddaughter loves this book as she remembers so much from seeing the display. She loves the pictures and hopefully will want to read it as she gets older. Great info for teachers as well.
