I especially appreciated the quote, “I am three ounces of whoopass,” coming from a tiny finch. So much silliness!

This is one of my new favourite books. It would honestly be worth it just for the pictures with the captions, but the pages of text that go along with certain images is definitely the icing on the cake. The birds are violent, cruel, and disturbed; this book shows a side of them never before seen by mankind. It is certainly worth a good laugh.

I bought this book for my girlfriend who is a huge fan of slightly weird (somewhat dark-ish) humour and birds.She absolutely loves it and it's always great fun to show around when friends come over for a visit!
