Great product and price.

Easy installation, could have used a little longer leads but that comment would probably show up in half the installs. Hooked up per instructions, turned on power and it worked fine. The hardest part was finding ignition switched power (boat install).

Using this for my Kawasaki Teryx, to be mounted on the underside of the dashboard. Bench tested this in an agonizingly slow process to emulate the slow decline of fuel in a tank. I did this because of reviews saying it only displays empty, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full fuel levels. I found this not to be true. Their testing may be flawed in that they may not be aware that there is a lag time between the sensor and the meter. That’s not bad quality. Lag time, in equipment with sensors, is programmed into devices like this because fuel levels can vary greatly when fuel is going up and down in the tank from waves in water or bumps and holes in the trail. Lag time between sensor and meter keeps the fuel level needle in the meter from wandering back and forth erratically. I have had lag time programmed into equipment manufactured for sale over the years. It’s a standard practice. Amazon only allowed the first part of the video to be posted, so I guess my glass is half empty. ;-)

I like this unit. The problem was probably just with the one I received. It has plastic debris on the inside of the glass of the gauge. It's sealed, so I cannot take it out. It will not stop me from using it, but this is a quality control issue. I guess they make these so quickly that they didn't notice it when packaging. Oh, well. I don't feel like sending it back because the gauge still works. Wabi-sabi! Mine is special. If they read this and send me another gauge, I'll up the overall rating to 5 stars.

I have an old Dodge Ramcharger, and the replacement sending unit cost over $150 and had to be special ordered, and was not guaranteed to fit, so for less than $35 I got a fuel gauge that I think looks better and works better

Refurbishing a 2006 Dixon ZTR that was sitting for 10 years. The original gauge float bar fell apart in the tank. Decided to replace it with an electronic gas gauge. I used a 10" sensor mounted on top of the tank which gives me a 1" space from the bottom of the tank for a gas reserve to get back home if out at the back of the property. Had to cut the original gauge hole bigger to feed the new sensor float through it. Screwed into the plastic tank with the gasket and sealed with black RTV. The screw that is missing is because the was not enough plastic to screw into, no big deal I say. The gauge itself fits into a 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe. I used a band saw to contour the pipe to the front of the control "fake tank". I could have mounted on the gas tank but I would have had to seal the screws and did not want to chance it. Anyway painted the pipe black and sealed the gauge edge to the pipe with black RTV. Used spiral wire wrap around the gauge wires to prevent chaffing of the through bolt I used to mount the pipe to the tank. I was fortunate the all the power and grounds were located in the switch area. In the video I turned the head lights on and this supplies power to the gauge without starting the engine. Good for a quick fuel level check.
