The doors lead to the boiler room and laundry room - 2 areas we want to keep our tenacious 18m old away from. They are very nice looking and have held up well to some good tugging. I installed one on a magnetic double door and another on a right handed door that opens out. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is the configuration for the right handed door is a bit awkward.- you have to attach it to the door frame or trim, not the wall. The decorative trim is not flat enough to install the sticky pad, so I had to use the door frame which put the hook part of the device inside the door when closed.
