I had a previous head net that was quite dark and difficult to see out of, particularly on horse back, this one , fits over a riding helmet fine and because it is light grey you can see through it well. Offered good protection from mosquitos and midges on the trail.

I bought three of these before going for a break to the Isle of Skye, being nervous about the prospect of midges. Luckily (?) it rained a lot during our stay and we didn't need to get the nets out. I imagine you need to wear them over a hat to keep the net away from your scalp otherwise the critters might be able to bite through, but we did take hats/caps with us for that purpose too just in case. Visibility was good when we tested them. You would feel a little odd wearing them if nobody else around was similarly garbed up, but I think they would do the trick and the little orange carry pouches make them small and easy to carry around and find if you were scrabbling around in a big bag looking for them. It's nice to know we have them for any future trips.

We haven't used this in action yet but it looks like it will work perfectly. Small, compact but large enough to fit comfortably over a Tilley type hat.

More brown than expected , do look like tights, good size and spread. Should help with Aussie flies

They did the job in Scotland

Tried in the garden collecting pine needles. Mosquitoes were coming out from everywhere as I disturbed their habitat.the net did not allow them to touch my face, but it was difficult to see. I felt although the net was light enough in weight due the gaps being closed in the material it obstructed my view a lot.I only had it for 15 minutes. I had to get on with the job so I removed, got bitten a lot, but I saw the end of the pine needles collection fasterHave not tried it againMaybe if you do fishing walking or something like this it would work better, but I was in constant movement all the time. It protects the face and shoulders well.

I used this product on my trip to South Africa and it was great! We had a lot of spiders in my tent so having this on when I slept kept my mind at ease that nothing will crawl into my ears, nose or mouth!

Pros: Nice large size and super lightweight. Inexpensive...Shipped quickly, thankyou.Con: Khaki isn't actually khaki, rather a pale gingery colour, so actually mis-described in listing. Bit miffed but not worth returning and anyway I need it now.If you want khaki I'd go for olive.

This product is great. It fits nicely over my large-brimmed garden hat and protects my face and ears from biting insects (mostly mosquitos and gnats). And I can still see through it. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Good price and good quality.

Preso per tenere lontani zanzare e moscerini dal viso mentre lavoro nell'orto.Ben realizzato, buon materiale, provvisto di sacchettino per riporlo.Funziona bene: le maglie sono molto fini e gli insetti non riescono ad entrare.Crea qualche difficoltà nella visione e tiene caldo, ma è normale e non è legato a difetti del prodotto.Questi disagi si risolvono, almeno in parte, indossandolo sopra ad un cappello a tesa larga o con visiera, per tenere il tessuto staccato dal viso.
