I purchased this set on Nov. 30, 2019. Today, Nov. 29, 2020 I had a project that required using the 1/4" Straight bit. I drilled a hole in the plywood since I do not have a plunge router base for my Porter Cable 890 router. The first circular pass went well. I was routing less than 1/4" into 3/4" plywood. Upon lowering the bit I proceeded to route a second pass, again this time less than 3/16" in depth. The bit lasted at best 5 inches before it broke off inside the collet. Needless to say, I waited far too long to even attempt to use these bits to ask for a return/refund. I will attempt to contact the supplier to see if they will stand behind their product. Not holding my breath. Update:Dec.8,2020. I received an email today from Trend stating that a replacement bit is being sent. They do stand behind their product.!!

I was reluctant to buy these router bits. But I didn’t want to spend $200+ on the cmt bits. I saw a review on you tube and the guy had decent things to say about the trend bits. I have test four how them on pine. No burning good smooth cut. I did have one bit slide In the Collett. Not a big issue. For the money you can’t go wrong

tough choices but I think I made a good one as my starter set. Probably buy individual bits from Freud or Orange CMT or Whitestone per project. easy to spend more more bits than the router

Tool case does not secure the bits and arrived broken.

I ordered another set thinking the first one that showed up just like this was just a fluke but this is the second set that I've received it looked just like this. Buyer beware

Packaging not so great, came in a aluminum carrying case but the foam packaging the bits were in did not hold up to the trip, form holders were not usable for the bits. 0 out of 5 for packaging.

As all comments mentioned, all bits are loose and sticker is torn in the box it looks like a mess , but for the price range package is not that important, Hope the bits can handle my diy projects to come. Will update upon trying

Firstly this is a quality set of router cutters each one costing less than a cup of coffee, excellent value for money. Trend is the go to router company and their products are premium and these cutters are no exception. They include the maximum rotation speed and depth of insert into the collett, both marked on the shank of the cutter. For those new to router work this is essential information, do not overspin the cutter. The carry case is useful and includes a cutter guide showing the cut profile of each cutter. Please do take the time to ensure each cutter is correctly located in the case to ensure you use the correct cutter for your needs. These cutters are sharp and leave a good clean cut and there are a variety of them to cover almost every application you may encounter. A good purchase at a good price.

Die Hartmetallschneiden sind zum Teil recht dünn. Der Preis ist erst mal sehr gut.
