Yamazaki Hafnia Soup/Cereal Spoon

I'm your typical adult cereal consumer. I've tried every other spoon in my house and none of them compare to the majesty of this spoon. Every other spoon is either too big, small, flat, or deep but not this spoon. Seemingly designed for the mouth of God himself, this spoon was somehow perfectly engineered to avoid the contours of your oral cavity while spooning a mouthful of whatever into our face. It feels perfectly weighted and shaped to rest comfortably in your hand and simply using it will bring joy to every meal.As the photos show, the spoon is a work of art as well. It's the kind of spoon you hide from your guests until after dinner to brag about it. For a sense of scale, I added a photo of a spoonful of cereal, Cap'n Crunch and Marshmallow Fruity Pebbles used for demonstration purposes.

My husband always complains about the size of ,so called, soup/cereal spoons in our flatware. I don"t know why, but even high end flatware has been shrinking...just like candy bars. My hubby needed something for his cereal/soup, so I bought this for him. He LOVES it and I got dinner out. An A+++ for all.

very expensive, but if you can afford to spend $16 per spoon go for it. i thought this was a pack of spoons, now i have my one cereal spoon that no one else is aloud to touch.

Eating cereal has never been so pleasurable, especially out of a fine porcelain bowl. Treat yourself!

I've been using it for 20 years and feel no need to move on. Plates come and go; Hafnia hangs around.

I have owned a large set of this pattern for over 20 years. It is hard to tell the old ones from the new item I bought to replace lost pieces.

These are the greatest spoons ever. We eat lots of cereal and soup and this is the best spoon for both!

It's a spoon. A very expensive spoon. That being said its great for cereal. Deep enough to hold cow juice and dry cereal simultaneously. It was worth the money.
