Q: Will these work on glasses with progressive lens?

I want to say yes. I use them on my glasses but mine are just for nearsightedness. The working range is set at 420 which is close enough like you are reading a book. Angling them towards the bottom of your glasses to help prevent neck strain should engage the prescription to its short range in your case.

Yes, you can clip in a safety goggles or a normal glasses without prescription but I recommend use with a good strap behind because the loupes are heavy

I doubt it. They are fairly heavy and require their own head strap (supplied). By saying, “long lenses,” I’m picturing lens that are set several inches away from your face. I think these would be extremely unwieldy.

Sadly, these are just too heavy for regular glasses - I will likely end up using a modified GoPro head rig instead. Another option is modifying a 3M hard hat chassis.
