I’ve range tested this sight with 1500 rounds of 9mm on my S&W Carbine before giving it a try on my M&P15 NATO. It handles the recoil very well and I’ve spent 1000 more rounds. After the first 500 using the new caliber, the mark did shift slightly left. A minuscule tweak with the supplied hex key and it was spot on again at 100 yards. I’ll be keeping an eye on the shifting, but when I can sight in and ring out a bullseye at 100 yards with a single magazine, I cannot complain at this price point. I’ll try to come back with another update after a couple more range visits. I generally spend 250 to 500 each trip depending on the time I have. I have other arms I practice with and I’m not sure if this sight can handle being mounted to my M&P10 NATO, but for the price I might try it and just buy another if it fails the intense recoil hammering. I see a newer model that features an internal USB rechargeable battery but my experiences with those have not been great. Keep in mind, it’s good maintenance practice to retighten all your fittings after so many uses, which may also require realignment. I go by round count for both cleaning and tightening, but I will re-clean when unused for longer than 3 months. You should also readjust your sight whenever you remove/replace it. 2026/8/2026 Update: I’ve decided to make a permanent home for this sight on my M&P9 Response PCC. It handled being attached to my M&P15 NATO very well. I did need to readjust the L-R position shortly after switching it between the two ARs but after tweaking it a little, it held solid. I believe you just need to fire a few rounds before finalizing the adjustments. Disturbing the mount throws it off slightly and firing off a couple rounds seems to help it settle into place for a finer adjustment. I’m very happy with the results I get using this sight. My groupings are tight on target even on my worst days. My hands sometimes shake from arthritis but I can still maintain control of my shots. If I could change anything, it would be the reticle beam color from red to the brighter green light frequencies. Green is easier to see in daylight scenarios. The red illuminated reticle does actually adjust to a very bright red, so no stars lost on that topic. I’m just being picky because I like green better. Each of my rifles are of different calibers and I have different styles of sights mounted on each of them. I feel the variety helps make me a better marksman. For most, anticipated recoil is their greatest downfall. This sight is non magnifying and therefore it made more sense to place it on a shorter ranged carbine. Hope that this review is helpful/useful.☮️ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3.5 ish stars, results may vary *by Z***K on November 25, 2025* 3 ½ is my actual rating. its not the worst but its certainly not the best. if youre a noob like me, this will suffice to getting acquainted with an opitc on a rifle platform. in my case i have a psa-15, so it fit well on the picatinny top rail of the receiver. looked good too, but im just a beginner and i knew going into this purchase this would be a learning tool. used it at the range with practice rounds and couldnt really get my zero with it. i messed around with the windage dials maybe too much trying to figure it out. started at 25 yards indoor and used a laser sighted to my irons roughly with 2-3 yard +/- difference. i sighted my reticle to it, and got consistent low shots from my 'zero' and left to mangle the windage knobs. i found that depending on what recital you prefer style wise, it can perfect on one and be off on different one. this is due to an ever so slightly off dial switch they use for this.
