i like the quality so far. a little undersized out of the package. i imagine a few laundry cycles will loosen them up

These seem well made, I love the style, and they fit well.. with one caveat, you have to like long shorts. I was hoping to use these to hike and kayak in, but I find the nearly 10 in inseam sits at my knee and makes it hard to comfortably walk in. If that's your style (and I know it is for a lot of people), then I don't think you can go wrong with these, but if you're wanting shorter inseams, pass these by.

Stop rip fabric, slightly thicker material, pockets that make sense, double reinforced above knee thats tapered to the back of the knee, two side zip pockets (BDU) and the exterior of the actual pocket, in the pants are also double reinforced, the belt line expands in the back, velcro on top of the zipper that does help at any fit. These are the best BDU shorts I've ever bought. I have now ordered two more. As a side note, I'm Male and I identify as a man that can't get pregnant nor do I have any compunction to be otherwise, 5'11", 175#, 66 yoa, slender at the hip ( 43" ) good shape so I ordered one size smaller (M) , these fit the best so far ever, not "baggy". Yes I recommend them to family and friends. I'm thinner, but these fit well.

I love the look of the shorts, they fit very well and is very comfortable. The problem is, this is where my low score comes from, they said these shorts had a 14” inseam. I prefer long shorts, these were not long, they are above the knee. I will not use these shorts again so they do me no good.

Shorts too long below the knee I’m 6.6 and they don’t fit above the knee was going to use them for work but know I won’t. Don’t like how the length in the front is longer than the length on the back of the leg the button closure was not expected picture showed a Velcro closure. Disappointed in overall product

My waist size is 30, but on these tactical pants, I probably wear a 29 waist and it’s not available.

After one hike, they seem like decent shorts. They fit me fine, seem durable and water resistant enough, although time will tell on durability and water resistance.My one complaint is that the pockets are simply not deep enough. When I put my cell phone (fairly normal size these days at 6.5'' x 3'') in the main front pocket, it jabs me in the gut, because it sits so high in the pocket. Even taking high steps it's jabbing me - and sitting down, forget about it. So I tried the other front pocket. it doesn't go deep enough to hold the phone and cannot be zipped to keep the phone safe (see photo). I'm not comfortable leaving my phone in this pocket either, because I'm afraid it will fall out in the middle of the woods while hiking.Not a big enough problem to return them, but it's a bummer that I'll have to pack my phone in my backpack or something instead :-(

Waist size was fine, but the legs size was huge… felt like a parachute. I returned this item
