Compact and works great!
This is a great little tuner. I use it for my ukuleles, even has a port so you can plug in the electrics. Very easy to use, and easy to read. Be sure to verify the calibration. Mine periodically gets bumped off 440 when I throw it in my bag.

Excellent tuner and great value
This is my second Korg tuner. The first one is still working after 20 years, but I wanted one that did more than just guitar open strings. This CA-2 is just the ticket. Popped in the batteries and set the two tuners side-by-side and they both agreed *exactly* on pitch. The needle jumps around a little if you let all the guitar strings ring, so mute the ones you're not interested in and it's rock steady. I tried it with the 1/4" jack and with the microphone and both worked beautifully. The only downside: The ugly yellow plastic on the front and bottom. Makes it look older than my 20-year-old original. Fortunately that's an easy fix: The yellow panel pops right off and a squirt of satin black paint fixed it right up. This is a great tuner. Worth twice the price, easy.

Just use your phone
I got this assuming it might be better than my iPhone for some reason, and I was wrong. It responds more slowly and has more coarse demarcations, meaning I almost always just whip out the phone when practicing. The Korg also jumps around quite a bit, maybe picking up on harmonics instead of the fundamental note being played? Which is more of an annoying inconvenience than a deal breaker. However! The ability to plug in directly is its saving grace. You can get in tune with reasonable speed and ease no matter what the volume level of your surroundings is. For this alone I recommend it, but if you're just playing in a quiet comfortable practice setting, skip it. As a final note the mic is not great at picking up the low E on a bass, though this is a non issue when plugged in. I can imagine it might become unusable if you have a 5 string.

Don't be lazy. Read the review.
For those that miss the old needle, analog style tuners, from the late 80's, early 90's, this is a really great digital version. Within the past few weeks of receiving it, I've put it next to many other tuners. It is very accurate. I have a Snark that I often use. However, trying to get accuracy out of it when doing a set up, and intonation is hard at times. It would give me good open string readings, sometimes 12th fret, but hardly ever harmonics. This tuner got past that issue. It came brand new in a box, with simple instructions, batteries included as well. Beyond a great deal for the price. It's also pocket size, which makes it easy to stick in a case compartment, or gig bag to take on the go. Also, the open mic feature is really nice for horns, or other vocal instrument, that has no cord access. It is also very accurate as well.

Very accurate
Exactly what I needed. Had one of these before but after 15 years it wore out!

Makes tuning easy!
I have a lever harp, and it has to be tuned each time before I play, and sometimes in between! The tuner has an attachment clip (purchased separately) that I can put on the pin of the harp and tune. What is nice is it makes tuning really fast. Back in the olden days, I had to use a tuning fork......I sometimes still do. But this tool is especially helpful when there is a false string, or something that makes tuning harder. You can set to 440 or whatever frequency you want. The only thing I wish it had, would be some sort of stand or holder where I could set it at eye level rather than holding it in one hand.......maybe I'll have to invent that!

Works great
My daughter uses this to tune her viola. Works great. This is the same tuner that the school orchestra uses.

I love this tuner. It makes tuning my esraj quite easy. But at this price, it should have come up with a metronome.

I was sort of sceptical at first looking at the price of this unit, I still don't understand why it is so 'cheap'... I was wanting a tuner to tune my guitar for drop C and C# and this little guy fits the bill. I was not sure at fist if it would pick those notes up, tho it will pick anything up I ever have to tune for. This unit is perfect, comes with batteries, I love the microphone or plug-in option, and it is deadly accurate and has you tuned up within seconds (if your guitar is semi close) to get you going to play your favorite songs IN TUNE. I also like the fact that I can position it right on my guitar to get all dialed in, it is clearly visible, simple and makes it fun!
