Watch the video before making a purchase
Bought this buckle bc when I bought the box set off of Ansons website it had a 2 strap 3 belt buckle vise versa deal going on. So I figured Since I had two buckles and three straps that this would go great with the lonely strap I had. All I can say is it was advertised as new and when I pulled it out of the box it was used and everything about the buckle felt wrong. Nice, but issues changing buckles.
I have several Anson belts and buckles. Very nice combinations. Only problem (and it’s a big one) is if you expect to interchange buckles between belts, it’s not going to happen. When the buckle is installed, the teeth of the buckle grips the belt very tight. This is good unless you try to remove, as the buckle gets ingrained into the belt. Removing it, if you can, chews the end of the buckle up a lot. Expect to buy a buckle for each belt, then it gets expensive.

Quality Issues
I bought the same traditional belt buckle in gun metal from the Anson website 2+ years ago. I still use it nearly everyday. The new silver one I bought from amazon is not the same quality. The new one is functionally stiff and the spiked clasp on the back does not grip the strap securely...like it won’t press down all the way.

Wrong!
This buckle is supposed to be ROSE GOLD. And the pewter one sent has damage in the center like it's been scratched! Now, annoyingly I have to exchange, hope it's here by Christmas and that it isn't blemished like this one!
