A few caveats but an excellent spiralizer
First the caveats. I wish the spiralizer was a little longer to be able to use a longer piece of vegetable. So far, I have spiralized beets, red onions, zucchini, and sweet potato. There will always be a little piece left over in the spiralizer not spiralized. This is common with all spiralizers. I do not know about the electric models leaving that vegetable piece. The blades are very sharp which is a double edged sword. It makes spiralizing the vegetables very easy but you must treat those blades with caution because the fingers can easily get sliced open.I have owned 3 spiralizers, a Paderno, a Lurch vertical spiralizer, and this spiralizer. This is my favorite spiralizer. It is very easy to grip which eliminates the need for suction cups. The vegetables , including the sweet potatoes, spiralize very quickly and efficiently. This is very easy to use. I will be using this spiralizer very often to prepare foods. for my dinner.

I looked for something like this for a long time, read hundreds of reviews on tens of similar products and decided to go with this one. Sweet potatoe was shredded up with zero effort and barely any waste. No regrets!!!!

Spiralizer with self-stored blades
Sturdy spiralizer. Really sharp! Blades change by pulling up and turning, so blades are self-stored.
