It costs only a little more than 20.00, and it comes in handy in the workplace, in a waiting room or even at home. I was so pleased with this CD player that I purchased two more to give as gifts. Because of the lead warning for the ear buds that accompanied the CD player, I purchased Koss KPH7 Lightweight Portable Headphones for a little over 5.00 and ditched the earbuds that came with the CD player. The Koss headphones are comfortable and produce a very nice sound. Amazon carries the Koss earphones, and both the Craig CD player and the Koss earphones come highly recommended!

Bought this for my brother, who used to be a Journey roadie. We knew the sound would be good because Craig is a company you can really trust for stereo and sound equipment. When my brother heard his first cd, his eyes nearly popped out of his head. It was so clean and clear and perfectly balance, he said it was worthy of work done by Journey in their prime. A high compliment coming from him. He didn't really expect to get quite such incredible sound from an inexpensive model. Even the earbuds that come with it are fantastic. We definitely got our money's worth on this one! He's getting a second one just to make sure he always has a great quality player.
