Our daughter is advancing and we wanted to excel within her own. These do that. She loves them.

I purchased this for my 11 year old granddaughter. I thought I was getting a much thicker book like we had for 4th and 6th grade, (the 5th grade never arrived). Anyway I hope this 7th grade is challenging enough and also lasts most of next year.

I feel like if it has more math pages, and maybe some more comprehensive science it would have been better. Like if one page was the lesson on science and the work page on another. The lesson part is only in the margin and is a little too succinct. There were only a few math pages in the whole book. More practice pages, and more different kinds. Some practice on fractions, decimals and percents would have been great. I love that there are answer keys in the back on the harder stuff. However, I think those should be removable so they can't cheat.

So it does not give you a guide on how to do math. And this book is about the size of a magazine. Not that great for learning all year. Would recommend for a summer refresher.
