Can the slide mechanism be mounted on an existing slide bar?

Is it possible to remove the flow restrictor on this model?

Hello and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Eco-Performance 5-Function Handheld Shower head with 30-inch Slide Bar is designed to deliver 1.75 GPM max. If you aren’t getting that flow, we would recommend removing the showerhead from the hose and run water through the face of it to clear out any debris. Moen doesn’t recommend the removal of the flow restrictor. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636.
