AFX/Racemasters Track Hairpin 3 AFX70614 HO Slot Racing Track

I’m a slot car enthusiast since a child, and the wonder has never left me; I know what’s good. I’m very happy with the entire line of AFX products. Their cars, their tracks and accessories are top quality. I highly recommend them!This particular track inserts a crafty obstacle in an otherwise, extremely fast track layout.

The media could not be loaded.  I was a little worried about the speed it could handle. Even with my older car it is very easy to make it around and a good speed! I posted a video to show,

I'll let you know what I think after I get it set up. I'm sure will be perfect what I'm looking for.

I really wanted to like this, but my cars kept losing all connectivity most of the time when attempting to go around this curve, even though my car was properly slotted. I tried all different speed, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, sometimes medium. Occasionally, it would work, but too often it did not, and as this hairpin was as far away on my 4x9 table as it could be, this became too painful to endure and I re-routed my layout, removing the hairpin. It may work better for you, which is why i give two stars instead of one.
