Because this goes on the end of your impact, it can spin 360 to modify duct that's already in the air, as long as you've got 2+ inches all of the way around. Just don't go over a seam, it says so right in the instructions. It takes a few tries to learn the best way to get it fully engaged on the pipe, I just go forward a couple of clicks, then reverse back to the starting point, and it's ready to go. I am using it with a Milwaukee M12 Surge impact, so it's noise level isn't too bad. Used 3 days for crimping 30 GA pipes 10", 8" and 6" . Used with dewalt impact driver . I need it to work right now, but it's broken.
