Nice hat for the money! I is nicer than I expected! Edges, trim and seams are well done.

This hat is perfect. Yes it is stiff and mostly plastic. But the colors, trim, and quality are very good for the price. You can spend upwards of $75 for a “real” pirate hat. I’m using this for a performance and it will look great on stage. The fit is a little large. I’m a woman, not sure of my hat size but I’d say my head size is about average. I wear wigs, hair pieces, and sometimes headbands underneath so it will actually work very well. Also, you can always attach a piece of elastic inside so it fits better. This hat is rigid, but it’s pliable and shapable to an extent. It was well protected during shipping inside the box. A small crease on the brim easily smoothed out. Fabric is velvety and soft to the touch. Plenty of head room to accommodate headband and hair, even a wig if desired. I am very pleased with its appearance and price- it’s very pretty and will last for years if taken care of. Glad I disregarded the negative reviews! It’s for costume, not a “real” hat that you would wear daily- but it looks authentic.

the hat is made out of nice material, very soft, and is exactly like the photos. im very satisfied!! plus the shipping didn’t take long which was nice. it’s just a little loose on me but it still fits just fine :) with this hat i’m sure i’ll execute my pirate costume well, thank you!

Hat is pretty small and the buttons pop out a lot

It came a bit big on my small head. I bought foam tape and now I can wear it without it wiggling. It came without and wrinkles or damage. The box keeps it in its original shape and it it did not break when I tried it on. I was a bit worried because it was cheep and Etsy seemed to have better options but it was actually a surprise for me. I’m definitely going to keep this hat. I think it is so cute and it will be perfect for my pirate cosplay at the Renaissance this year. I’m excited!

I brought it to the Renaissance Faire and got a lot of compliments. It's so lightweight too and that's amazing for a hot day.. trust me lol
