Updated review: Customer service reached out and helped with a replacement light that only worked for a few months. It seems like it was a faulty light I received the first time, so hopefully this one last. I appreciate the great customer service!

I bought my first one around 2-2.5 years ago and it only just recently started having LEDs burn out. It was a great purchase so I bought another. However, the product has changed from the old one.You can no longer separate the power cable from the light and there is now a timer switch which includes a dimmer, mode change, power button and timer. I don’t like this at all. The old one worked on a smart plug controlled by Alexa. This one will not be able to anymore due to the power button on the switch must be manually activated once power is supplied.Really sad to see. I’m considering returning and find a new light that can be compatible with a smart plug.

When we first purchased, the product was working great. 3 months later it will not brighten. The heat lamp light is brighter now. Contacted Amazon and they cannot do anything since it is outside the return policy. I am very disappointed with this product.I got to contact the seller. They apologized for the defected item, I was offered to have a replacement since the product I purchased was defected. They happened to be out of stock so I got a refund instead. I really appreciate the honesty of the sellers. I will purchase other products from them.

Went dim after less than 9 months.

Thought this would be a good alternative to the expensive pet store lights. The lights were nice and bright but it only lasted 2 months!

The light I received was defective, they offered to replace the light or issue me a refund. Great customer service.

I had to replace the old light and it is doing a good job.

I bought this light for my son’s Christmas present (a fully set up fish tank). I set it up mid January as we were on vacation for the holidays. Everything worked great, the blue light was amazing for his glow fish and the regular white light made the tank look beautiful. A few weeks ago, out of the blue, I switched it from blue to white in the morning as I usually do, and the light was suddenly extremely dim. Now both the white and blue settings are so dark the fish are in darkness all the time. For the price, it isn’t bad, I was going to get him a new light that has a timer anyway, but disappointed it didn’t even last a year.
