Excellent product and very tough.. Review: SUPER PRODUCT!! - Only product I could find to mount my FT-8800 control head in my car. The only drawback, is the height. It is not adjustable and sits just a smidgen too high. Other than that So Far it is PERFECT!!!!

Great product

SUPER PRODUCT!!

This works really well. Just wish it was a few inches longer.

Lido mount for amateur radio mobile applications.
The product fit well in the cup holder. The Kenwood head mount attached to the plate with mounting tape and looks great. The mount is much stronger and stable than the one I had.

I'm using part of it, but this didn't really work in my car.

Great mobile mount your TH-F6a UHF/VHF Transceiver!
I use this LM-801EXP to mount my Kenwood TH-F6a transceiver in my vehicle. Ergonomic, easy to use, and solidly built!

Does not fit large cup holders and does not get very tight
The design isn't compatible with oversized cup holders in some vehicles. In my case a 2011 Tundra. The expansion mechanism slips when trying to tighten securely. The part that goes into the cup holder is not very deep (probably to support shallow cup holders), so it is only tightening onto the top 1-1.5 inches of the cup holder. The height isn't adjustable. If you have sized average cup holders and a very light rig that will not be bumped frequently, it should probably work. Otherwise, keep looking.
