Tight fit but a nice design and I feel safer with it. It says it takes about 12 hours for it to get worn in and not be so tight, after about 30 minutes I could feel it start to loosen a bit. If you're having issues fitting into it initially I suggest opening the face shield before putting on as it helps open the sides more

I purchased this helmet to replace an HJC full face helmet and a Bell Quarter face helmet. It is lighter weight than either of those helmets. Installation of the Sena intercom system was a breeze. Fit is nice and snug, as it should be. I know it will loosen up a bit over time as I wear it more. I did not expect it to come with the chin curtain, which was a pleasant surprise. The price was outstanding for the quality of this helmet. Highly recommend this helmet

This helmet is very snug on the cheeks, but I guess it really should be. It fits as described.

Bought this for my husbands birthday and he loves it! Comfortable, breathable, and he appreciates the built in sunglass visor so there’s no need to carry any around with him. Definitely recommend.

I’ve always worn an XL, so I was scared at how tight this was! But I read up... it takes 20 hours to break in a helmet. After 12 hours riding, I’m very happy.Great features. Great visor. Quieter than my previous lids. Decent price. The only thing I could wish for is a quick-release chin strap.Five stars!

The helmet is a bit tighter than my other hjc helmet. I am a 4xl so my selection is limited. I ordered this thinking I would like to have the COMS unit. After receiving it I tried it on and it is a very tight fit. Due to the battery area on the rear makes the insertion point smaller than normal. This causes it to scratch my temples as it slides past. Once it is on it feels really secure.I have purchased the COMS unit and installation was simple. The music sound quality is fine and call quality is great. It has definitely earned a place amongst my selection of helmets. I am hopping that once the foam has broken in it will loosen up a bit. Over all I think going up to a 5xl might have been a good move. Time will tell.

HJC makes helmets that are good value for the money. I have used them for years finding them very satisfactory and am sorry to find that this helmet and my head are not a good fit. It seems to be well built and the lever for the sunshade works easily while the visor has definite stops that allow keeping it just open even at speed. However, after only half an hour’s riding the helmet causes pain to my forehead. I had hoped the wearing would allow it to break in but no luck. This experience has brought me to conclude that I should shop for helmets where I can try them on for fit. As can be seen by other reviews, this helmet fits many riders very satisfactorily. I am sorry I am not one of them.
