The diameter of the linear rods on the X axes is 10.26mm. I do not know the information on the lead screw and the specifications are not in the manual I have either.

Q: Are there any physical differences between the pro and prover models? they look the same except for the colors.

Yes. The spindle carriages are not interchangeable

Q: Will upgradraded zaxis stepper motor work with 3018 control board? Does it require more current than stock?

Your current board will handle the stepper motor. On some boards, you may need to reverse the leads unless the program your using will do it. As others have said, you’ll most likely need a new spindle (that’s one of the reasons for upgrading) and it will need its own power supply. With the power supply, you will be to control the rpms. That’s another good reason to upgrade.

Q: Can LM12UU bearings be used instead of LM10UU?

You have to measure the guide rod outer diameter. A 10UU has a 19mm diameter and a 12UU is 21mm.
