I have to say, I've spilled things on the bag itself, rolled it over pavement, hardwood flooring, carpet, etc. and the wheels have not given out. On top of that, it stays upright which is such a pain with most roller bags. The neat thing about this bag is it comes with wheel covers! This way you don't track in whatever you just rolled over outside. Another neat thing is the fact that the base is super sturdy. I am also a stickler for stitching and zippers - meaning I pull them to see if I can break them. These are built very well so you won't see zippers coming loose or tearing away from the bag itself.
