Christina Aguilera - Genie Gets Her Wish

You get to see the start of something special. Christina truly has a voice sent from God! She's able to do things with her voice at a young age that can't be topped by many. She always sings with such feeling from the heart. Plus her career is still spanning.

I can't believe this DVD is going 13 years old. I'm not a Christina fan, but I always did enjoy this DVD because it's of course, Christina's first DVD. And this is Christina at the age of 18, looking her finest. This was the only DVD we could get a glimpse of Christina when Christina came out with the hit "Genie In A Bottle". This is a great special DVD to see Christina's beginnings.

Well, it was interesting watch the life of a superstar's career demands. I was hoping for more songs though. Chritina has the best voice I ever heard and I'm 49 but with a young heart and mind.

I rented this on Christmas eve I believe. I like the way Christina talked about never giving up on your dreams. When you know it is your destiny. She said some thing like. ( I didn't want to be famous, I needed to be famous). I think everyone should do what really makes them happy. That's what life should be about. this is just soooo cool! there's a lot of scenes where shes performing, and her talking about what she really wants to say. i personally like come on over the most cuz it sounds fun and it's a song that you can really dance to. all of her songs are just soooooo great- i love her singing and dancing. christina is no 1! :-)

This is a very good dvd it shows live footage of her performing some of her songs from her debut album, recording the songs in the studio, music videos and interviews and footage from backstage of Christina's tour.This for all of her fans and i grantee you will love it

Christina Aguilera sieht so atemberaubend gut aus, dass es schon glücklich macht, sie einfach nur anzusehen. Das wussten wohl auch die Produzenten dieser DVD und deshalb gibt's bei den Extras eine Photogallery. Ebenfalls finden sich auf Genie gets her wish die Videos zu Genie in a bottle und What a girl wants.Genie gets a wish wurde 2000 veröffentlicht und ist eine Dokumentation über Christina Aguileras Anfänge. Fotoshootings, Konzerte, Promotiontermine, Autogrammstunden, Proben, Aufnahmen im Tonstudio, Fernsehauftritte. Alles sehr hübsch anzusehen, aber nie allzu tiefgründig oder kritisch. Es ist ein Film für Fans. Die Alben Stripped und Back to basics waren 2000 noch nicht erschienen, folglich geht es hier nur um Christinas Debüt.Etwas verschlossen und kühl wirkt die blonde Christina in dieser Doku.Obwohl Christina Aguilera eine unbestritten hervorragende Sängerin ist und bereits viele gute Songs vorzuweisen hat, so steht ihr Aussehen etwas zu sehr im Vordergrund. Konsequent, dass es bislang bereits vier offizielle DVD's von ihr gibt.

When I bought this video I watched it the second I got home and watched it every day for about three weeks. It is exactly what you need if you have a christina craving and you'll never get tired of it. The dancing and singing is incredible and so is the behind the scenes footage. I loved it!
