Q: Does this work well with curly hair? When blow drying it and then going over with straightners

Iv got mixed afro curly hair and it was OK for my hair. The bristles bent a bit making it a little more difficult. I had one that I had for years that was much better and kept its shape from wilko but I couldn't get it again so got this one. I'd still prefer something stronger. Hope this helps. If your hair is just curly without the afro Caribbean mix it might be ok. 😊 the video shows my natural hair and bristles after 2 uses.

Q: How does this open and lock, as i cannot open it up

It's built-in spring in the end of the handle,so you don't need to lock or open it.
