A Good Price for Some Solid 1/2 Inch Drive Sockets and a Decent Case
The sockets seem to be very solid. I have not used them a lot.Just a note about the included casing for the sockets. It is solid plastic. In order to take each socket out, you must use a screw driver or some time of fairly slim, sturdy piece of steel to pry the socket loose. Just put the screwdriver edge inside of the socket and pry it with some slight leverage. After use, you can snap each socket back into it's original place. I prefer to keep the case, whereas the sockets are neatly arranged. With this method, the socket casing should last.

Great and heavy duty sockets
Great and heavy duty sockets. Some have complained about the 32nd's sockets but if you work on older machinery, tractors or cars, they will come in handy. I didn't order it for the case (which is still working fine after some rough use) and the sockets are very well made and chromed for this price. I will be buying more Stanley socket sets in the near future.

Stanley is A-1
These are very good Chrome sockets, Stanley has made some really nice affordable sockets. I would buy these again. Doubt I have to, they look and feel very durable, well made, I have had no problems using them now after a month 3-4 times. Great set for the price on Amazon, saved me a lot of money. Just what I had been looking for.

packaging is great despite those saying otherwise. and the product is good too.
does what is says on the tin.As to the folk whining about the package, just read the instructions, they clearly state how to "release" and then the packaging makes a great place to store them as they pop in and out super easy super fast.I don't mean to be rude, but folks should take the time to read the packaging before writing neg posts that make other miss out on a great product.

Your basic polished socket set...
As the headline says, this is a plain old socket set. Sizes are engraved in the polished sides and are easy to read. I'd give it five stars, but the plastic case is difficult to open without a screwdriver to unhook the latch...it's a little plastic tab that fits tightly over a bump. Of course, if you're going to put these in a tray or onto some other holder, Stanley's case isn't important. Otherwise, these work fine. They're not heavy duty impact sockets, but I've never broken any socket in real-world use and they're much lighter weight. YMMV.Lastly, I purchased my set from Amazon Warehouse Deals. The case had been opened, but the sockets were perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a slight used set...they're pretty tough to break.

Great set for the price
Wish it came in a carrying case. In order to open it you have to "break" the plastic tabs that lock everything together so that it can't reused as an impromptu carrying case. The drives themselves are good. Been using them with an air impact on low settings and they've held up quite well

Stanley is inventing fake socket sizes.
Includes a bunch or worthless sizes such as 19/32", 21/32" and 25/32". Seriously, these don't exist in the real world, so just throw them away. The set also includes a 5/16" and a 3/8" socket..... in 1/2" drive.... so yeah, just go ahead and throw those away too and save yourself some space in your toolbox. Who in their right mind would ever use a 5/16" socket in 1/2" drive????? For the price, the remaining 10 sockets are pretty decent quality with nice fit and finish.

Missing the three largest sockets
I ordered a *complete* set of sockets, but I only got 4/5 of them. The package wasn't damaged or re-taped or anything — somebody actually put a partial set into the package. We can blame that on Amazon, but maybe Stanley should put a little plastic wrap around them for shipping.
